NEW YORK -- An after-school coach in New York City was fired after a video surfaced of a fight between two 12-year-old boys as he seemingly stood by and did nothing to break it up, CBS New York reported.Toward the end of the video, the coach ushers one of the middle school boys off camera. Jones said he learned of the incident when his son came home from the after-school program at Brian Piccolo Middle School in Far Rockaway, Queens and began complaining of pain. He said the confrontation that required taking his son to the hospital for treatment began as a dispute over money.The night of the fight, Jones said he saw the video, which was posted on Facebook by another boy, and became furious. The coach, Marcus Cruz, has been fired. Cruz was not a DOE employee, and he was swiftly removed from his position at an after-school program at the school.
