Updated 8:34 PM ET:An arrest was made in the ricin investigation late Wednesday, CBS News has learned. CBS News  A letter sent to the president tested positive for a powerful poison called ricin, and another envelope to a U.S. senator was intercepted Wednesday. Outside those facilities Wednesday, hazmat teams continued to check for ricin contamination.                                         According to the FBI, there were three letters containing a white granular substance: two sent to Mississippi Sen. Roger Wicker and one to President Obama. On Wednesday evening, the Department of Justice announced the arrest of Paul Kevin Curtis from Corinth, Miss., in connection with the mailings.Ricin is a poison that originates in castor beans.   AP Florida Sen. Mel Martinez will endorse John McCain today, according to the Associated Press. Martinez is the fourth Florida Cuban-American politician to back McCain, and the endorsement could give McCain a boost amongst Cuban-Americans, who are expected to make up around 10 percent of Republican voters in Tuesday s Florida primary.The AP notes that  Martinez, who was born in Cuba <a href=https://www.stanley-quencher.us>stanley quencher</a> , emigrated to the United States as a teenager and is popular in Miami s Little Havana neighborhood.  He and McCain are longtime friends who worked together on illegal <a href=https://www.stanley-cups.uk>stanley cup</a>  immigration legislation.
