COACH IN TRAINING (CIT)
Coach Daisey started playing volleyball in 2019. She played club volleyball for 4 years in Las Vegas, Nevada. She had extensive training in positions such as Middle Hitter, Right Side, and Outside Hitter. Unfortunately, COVID- 19 canceled her High School volleyball seasons in Nevada. She recently moved to New Jersey and started taking REC It Volleyball High School Programs to ensure that she stayed on track. She took a range of courses including High School Prep, and JV/ Varsity League Programs. She asks lots of questions, listens intently, and shows initiative during practices.
Coach Daisey became a Coach In Training because she wants to continue learning the sport and has a great court presence. She has many younger siblings, so she has lots of experience working with kids. Currently, she works in the Middle School Practice Programs, and is training to coach future Middle School Rotations Programs. She has a complete understanding of 5-1 and 6-2 systems and is now learning how to break them down into digestible chunks for the middle school athletes. She does an excellent job keeping the learning environment fun, while giving every athlete the right amount of correction to keep them engaged at practice.
In her free time, Coach Daisey loves to hang out with friends and watch tons of movies/tv shows. Her favorite movie franchize is Marvel. Her favorite movie is Avengers: Age of Ultron. She is also a really good baker. She can bake anything from cookies to homemade bread.
Coach JP Farrelly will graduate from High School in 2024. He started playing volleyball in the winter of 2021. He will be trying out for his school's Boy's Varsity team. He primarily plays as a Setter and Rightside in a 6-2 system and has formal training as an Outside hitter. Coach JP is a dedicated volleyball player; he signs up for various volleyball programs in the area and plays 4-5 days a week during the off-season. He practices with local club teams and periodically plays in Adult open gyms.
Coach JP has been coaching with REC It Volleyball since June 2022. He has coached in our Summer Camps, Middle School/ Freshman Leagues, Middle School Practice programs, and High School Prep Programs. He loves working with the athletes and allowing them to start playing earlier than he did.
Coach JP, off the court, loves studying Science; his favorite subject is Biology: Botany. He plans to go to college to become a dermatologist. He also likes to give back to his community. He participates in clubs in his school that promotes efforts against poverty. Some activities involve working with animal shelters, donating, and working with the homeless
Coach Danielle Pereira will graduate high school in 2024. She started playing volleyball during the summer of 2019. During her freshman season, she played on JV; during her Sophomore and Junior Seasons, she played on Varsity. Her primary position for her High School team is Middle Hitter/ Blocker, but she also plays Right-side hitter. During the off-season, Coach Danielle plays club volleyball as an Outside Hitter. She also periodically plays in adult women's and Co-ed open gyms.
Coach Danielle started coaching in 2021. She began as an Assistant Volunteer Coach during high school clinics and camps. In Spring 2022, she began to coach for REC It Volleyball. She coaches our Middle School Practice Programs, High School Preps, League Prep: Rotations, and the Middle School Freshman Leagues. She loves working with young athletes and enjoys spreading her knowledge of the sport.
Off the court, Coach Danielle loves to study Marine Biology and plans to pursue that field in the future. She hopes to get recruited to play volleyball in college. Additionally, Coach Danielle Gives back to her community often. She is a volunteer coach for middle school camps and regularly works at local food drives.
Coach Rishi Gadam will graduate High School in 2024. He started playing volleyball in 2020 and is his school's Varsity Setter. He received the Synergy Challenge 16's Tournament MVP and Winner awards and the Morristown Tip-Off All-Star award. He has experience playing in a 5-1 system as a Setter and Outside Hitter. Coach Rishi has been playing Club Volleyball since 2021 as the team's primary Setter during both seasons. He was Co-Captain during his first season and Captain during his second season.
Coach Rishi started coaching for REC It Volleyball in November 2022. He has experience working with Middle School Practice Programs and will continue his coaching education to teach a 6-2 system in future League Prep: Rotations programs. He gives excellent feedback and is always looking for more knowledge to give to young athletes.
Coach Rishi wants to play volleyball in college. He wants to study Pre-Law in college and get an MBA. His goal is to become a Corporate Lawyer or a Business owner. In his spare time, Coach Rishi volunteers for Arm in Arm, a program that gives back to the less fortunate. The program helps feed, shelter, and employ people in need.
Coach Noah Legaspi will graduate High School in 2024. He started playing volleyball in 2020 when he tried out for his school's Freshman Team. During his first season, he played as an Outside Hitter and Setter on the freshman team. During his Sophomore season, he played JV and Varsity as a Setter, earning enough court time to receive a Varsity Letter. He will try out as his high school's Varsity Setter this 2023 season. Coach Noah played club as a Setter and Right-side Hitter. During the days that he is not playing for his school or club team, coach Noah plays in multiple competitive adult open gyms.
Coach Noah started volunteer coaching for his school in January of 2022, working with underclassmen and Middle School athletes. He started coaching for REC It Volleyball in December 2022. He coached the Middle School Practice Program and will continue working with the Middle School and High School Prep athletes.
As long as it does not interfere with his studies, Coach Noah wants to continue playing volleyball when he attends college. He wants to major in Fashion Design and one day become a tailor. When he is not playing, he volunteers will Middle School sports programs and donates to his church.

Coach Ved Pant will graduate High School in 2025. He started playing in the fall of 2021. He played on his high school freshman team as a Setter/ Right Side in a 6-2 system. He plays for a competitive Boy’s Volleyball club 16’s team as an Outside and right-Side Hitter. Coach Ved is very analytical and is growing rapidly as a volleyball player. He communicates well with teammates, coaches, and athletes.
Coach Ved Started his volleyball career with REC It Volleyball. He started in High School Prep programs and then moved into our Boys League as a Setter/ Right-side in a 6-2 system. Coach Ved also learned middle hitting in a 5-1 system. He asks many good questions and expresses interest in coaching. When Coach Ved works with Middle School athletes, he makes them feel comfortable and helps them fall in love with the game. He primarily works with the Middle School Practice Program athletes. He is training to teach athletes in the High School Prep and League prep: Rotation programs.
When Coach Ved Graduates High School, he wants to play for his future college. He wants to major in Information Technology and eventually a career in Cyber Security. In his Spare time, he plays volleyball with the neighborhood kids and teaches elementary kids how to swim. He loves working with people and getting to know them.
