IF YOU GO TO THE INCORRECT FACILITY OR ARRIVE AT THE INCORRECT TIME, WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR REFUNDS OR MAKEUP PRACTICES. GENERAL INFO:

Ages: 9-14

Gender:  (Girls 9-14) and (Boys: 9-12)

Experience: Less than 6 months of formal training

 

ATTIRE:

  • Kneepads are required on the second week of practice. Dick Sporting Goods has many sizing options
  • Hair: Any Hair under Chin Length Should be pulled out of their Face
  • Sneakers: (Avoid Lifestyle Shoes like Converse and Airforces if possible- We find that many athletes slip in these shoes and get foot pain- Running, Volleyball, or Athletic-Friendly Basketball Sneakers are recommended  but not required.
  • Clothing: (they will be rolling and laying on the ground often)
    • NOT ALLOWED: crop tops, Jean shorts, skirts, Crocs, tank tops with strechy straps
    • ALLOWED : T-shirts (long and short sleeve), Athletic shorts and spandex, squatproof leggings, sweatpants, sweatshirts, arm sleeves

WHAT IS INCLUDED WITH THE COST: 

  • 5 Practices that are 1 hour 20 min each
  • 2-3 Coaches per court at every practice with 16-18 athletes

DESCRIPTION:  THIS IS PERFECT FOR ATHLETES WHO HAVE LITTLE TO NO EXPERIENCE PLAYING. MOST OF THE ATHLETES WHO JOIN THIS LEVEL PROGRAM HAVE EXPERIENCE RANGING FROM NO EXPERIENCE TO ABOUT 6 MONTHS OF RECREATIONAL PROGRAMS. TOTAL BEGINNER ATHLETES TAKE THIS PROGRAM BETWEEN 2-3 TIMES BEFORE MOVING INTO OUR INTRO TO TOURNAMENTS PROGRAMS. WE TEACH THE FUNDAMENTALS OF THE SPORT (PASS, SET (FORWARD AND BACK, HIT, SERVE, TRANSITIONING). WE GIVE THE ATHLETES BEGINNER GAMEPLAY EXPERIENCE TO BUILD CONFIDENCE AND PRACTICE THE SKILLS FROM THE DRILLS.
